Dr Susan Sharfstein is an Associate Professor of Nanobioscience at SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Albany, New York. The focus of her research is on biotechnology and mammalian cell bioprocessing. During her Fulbright Award she will collaborate with the National Institute for Cellular Biotechnology at DCU on proteomic studies of antibody-producing Chinese hamster ovary cells.
