Mr Ruairí Mc Court is a final year PhD research student in the Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute School of Chemistry. Ruairí graduated with a B.A. in Medicinal Chemistry from Trinity College in 2015. His research focuses on the development of novel radical reactions, with a particular interest in the synthesis of sulfur-containing compounds and the optimisation of new initiation and cyclization strategies. As a Fulbright student in The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI) California Ruairí will work on transition-metal mediated radical reactions.
