Robert Wallace, PhD, is a Professor of Materials Science and Engineering and holds the Erik Jonsson Distinguished Chair in the Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Wallace received his PhD in Physics from the University of Pittsburgh in 1988 and was subsequently employed at Texas Instruments until 1999 engaged in materials and device research for integrated circuit technologies. He has continued this work using a variety of materials and characterization techniques throughout his academic appointments. For his Fulbright in Materials Science beginning in the Fall 2023, he will be working with collaborators in the AMBER (Advanced Materials and BioEngineering Research) Centre at Trinity College Dublin and the Tyndall National Institute at University College Cork on the development of Polymer Brush Lithography for advanced device technologies.
