Rebecca Frankel holds a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence college, concentrating in Creative Writing and Classics, and an M.A. from Brandeis University in Ancient Greek and Roman Studies. She was the 2021 recipient of the Andrea K. Willison prize for poetry. Her Fulbright project at University College Cork is a poetry collection concentrating primarily on the Banshee and other death messengers in comparative folkloric traditions and mythologies.
