SruthiA Ramesh is a Fulbright Research Fellow at South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital (SIVUH). She was awarded the University Scholarship from Wayne State University, where she completed her Bachelor of Science degrees in Biological Sciences and Psychology. Subsequently, she was awarded the Harris Scholarship for further studies at NYU Grossman School of Medicine where she has completed her clinical training, and is anticipated to complete her MD studies in 2024. Throughout her schooling, she has undertaken research in a diverse range of fields from cognitive neuroscience, to plastic surgery to endocrinology, and maintains a strong interest in public health, health access and global health. She has presented her research throughout the US and as published her research in several academic platforms. As a Fulbright Student at SIVUH, she will conduct research on the effects of early identification of hearing loss on the progression of various illnesses including dementia.
