Precious McKenzie is an associate professor of English and Co-Director of the First-Year Experience Program at Rocky Mountain College. She is the author of academic books and articles on British women travel writers. Professor McKenzie serves on the board of directors for This House of Books and the NOVA Center for the Performing Arts. She is newly elected to the Modern Language Association’s Delegate Assembly for the Central and Rocky Mountain Region and is the Regional Advisor for the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators- Montana. She will hold the Fulbright US Scholars Award in the College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences at University College Cork. She will study Irish folktales and will work on a book-length project based on her research. As a Fulbright Scholar, she will teach a graduate workshop in the humanities with an emphasis on research, innovation, and dissemination.
