Mary McPartlan is Academic Co-coordinator and Director of Arts in Action at the College of Arts Social Sciences and Celtic Studies, NUI Galway. A professional traditional singer with two award winning CDs, Mary will teach a module on Irish Women Traditional Singers since the 1950s in Ireland at the Institute of Irish American Studies, Lehman College CUNY, while undertaking a body of research in Irish song material.
