Marcus MacCoinnigh is this year’s recipient of the Fulbright Irish Language Scholar Award. A lecturer in Irish at Queen’s University Belfast, Marcus will teach Irish at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana and produce a comprehensive dictionary of modern Irish proverbs spanning the years 1856-1952.
