Linda Rochford (Ph. D., University of Minnesota) is Associate Professor of Marketing. Innovation and new product development have been interests throughout her professional and academic careers. Dr Rochford has published her research in academic and pedagogical outlets. She has a keen interest in study abroad having led a short-term study abroad programme, Innovation in Ireland, for 9 years. Dr Rochford is looking forward to collecting the innovation stories and experiences of businesses and organisations in the North West of Ireland as part of her project: “Overcoming Barriers and Borders to Innovation”. The goal of this project is to understand the factors that influence successful innovation and entrepreneurship amongst organisations in this part of the country. She will also be helping to develop curriculum for a study abroad programme focused on innovation at Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
