Born in Dublin, Ireland, he studied Photography and Media at New York University and the International Center Of Photography, New York. His work is exhibited in the United States and Europe and is represented in leading international public and private collections. He lectured at Dublin City University and collaborates on media programmes at Brooklyn College (CUNY).

His recent museum archive projects include collaborations with the: American Museum of Natural History; Mütter Museum; La Specola Museum & Caregi Hospital; Hubrecht Laboratory; Tornblad Institute; National Museum of Ireland (Natural History) Museum fur Naturkunde, Berlin; Science Gallery Dublin (TCD) and the Comune di Napoli.
