Dr Gerard Wall is a lecturer in Microbiology and the Centre for Research in Medical Devices at National University of Ireland Galway. While based at the University of Wyoming as the Fulbright-Marine Institute Scholar, he will develop handheld detection devices for use in environmental monitoring and pathogen detection.
