Eimear Millane graduated with a 2.1 Bachelor of Education degree from Mary Immaculate College, Limerick in 2019. She is a primary school teacher in Bunscoil Bhríde in Co. Kildare where she currently teaches 5th class. She oversees the Coiste Gaelach and coordinates activities to foster a love of the Irish language and its culture at a whole school level. Eimear is undertaking a Masters in Literacy and the Curriculum in St. Mary’s University, Belfast. She teaches Irish to second and third level students on behalf of Coláiste Chorca Dhuibhne every summer. Eimear has a keen interest in GAA and plays camogie with Naas in Co. Kildare. Eimear is a Clare traditional musician who plays the concertina and sings in the sean nós style. She has competed successfully at Fleadhanna Ceoil throughout Ireland.
