“Hailing from High Bridge, Kentucky,A LucyA Dever completed her BA in English at Princeton University. While there, she completed the Classical Voice and Medieval Studies certificate programs, falling in love with the history and archaeology of the European late Medieval and Early Modern periods along the way. At University College Dublin, she will pursue an MSc in Experimental Archaeology and Material Culture at UCD’s renowned Centre for Experimental Archaeology and Material Culture, drawing upon her many years of interest in and practice of domestic handicrafts. Her focus will be on the role of women in late Medieval and Early Modern food culture, and her work will be supervised by the incomparable Dr. Meriel McClatchie.”
