Dr C. Eduardo Siqueira is an Associate Professor at the School for the Environment and Coordinator of the Transnational Brazilian Project at the Mauricio Gast—n Institute of Latino Community Development and Public Policy at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Dr Siqueira graduated in Medicine at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He holds a Master in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Doctorate in Work Environment Policy from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He has researched work environment policy issues, environmental justice for Brazilian immigrants, Brazilian health policy, and health and safety disparities at work. He is the author of the book Dependent Convergence: The Struggle to Control Petrochemical Hazards in Brazil and the United States and of many articles on work environment policy issues. As a Fulbright Scholar, he will collaborate with the University of Limerick.
