Jasmine Burns is the Visual Resources Metadata Librarian at Cornell University, where they manage and oversee descriptive practices for the librariesa€™ digital collections. Jasminea€™s research concentrates on the various ways that digitization and digital objects impact our understanding of archival materials as they are presented in a virtual environment. They hold a Master of Library and Information Science degree from UW-Milwaukee, and a Master of Arts in Art History from Binghamton University. As 2022-23 Fulbright Scholar at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) in Dublin, Jasmine will be working closely with the Collections Department to assist with organizing the museuma€™s archive, working with the collections database, and writing about online art collections.
