Jasmine Burns is the Visual Resources Metadata Librarian at Cornell University, where they manage and oversee descriptive practices for the librariesa digital collections. Jasmineas research concentrates on the various ways that digitization and digital objects impact our understanding of archival materials as they are presented in a virtual environment. They hold a Master of Library and Information Science degree from UW-Milwaukee, and a Master of Arts in Art History from Binghamton University. As 2022-23 Fulbright Scholar at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) in Dublin, Jasmine will be working closely with the Collections Department to assist with organizing the museumas archive, working with the collections database, and writing about online art collections.
