Dr Brigittine French is Associate Professor of Anthropology and Chair of Linguistics at Grinnell College in Iowa.  She will be based at Dublin City University in the School of Applied Languages and Intercultural Studies where she will lecture on ethnographic and discursive approaches to social identity formation. She will conduct research about courtroom language and citizenship in the Irish Free State.
