Ms AnneMarie Brosnan is a PhD candidate at Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick. As a Fulbright Student Awardee, Ms. Brosnan will conduct archival research at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, to investigate the growth and development of African American education in North Carolina during the Civil War and Reconstruction era, 1861-1876.
