Áine McBride/Mac Giolla Bhríde is an Irish artist working in the field of sculpture. Their work makes manifest considerations of site and the situated body via staged sculptural arrangements. Recent exhibitions include solo shows at The Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny, and mother’s tankstation, Dublin. They are currently working on a forthcoming show in Void, Derry, and commissioned work for Kunstverein Aughrim, 2023/2024. As a recipient of the Fulbright Student Award 2023 they will complete a period of research and study on the MFA programme at Bard College, New York.
