Dr Lazelle Benefield is Dean of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College of Nursing, Professor and Parry Endowed Chair, Adjunct Professor in the College of Medicine, and founding Director of the Donald W. Reynolds Center of Geriatric Nursing Excellence. As a Fulbright Scholar at University College Cork, her research, teaching and interprofessional efforts will involve projects promoting wellbeing and improving quality of life for family carers and community dwelling older adults with dementia.
