TEDxFulbrightDublin 2018 Speaker Call Now Open

Do you have a bold idea worth spreading? A creative topic big enough to change the world? TEDxFulbrightDublin want to help you to scale your vision!

The third TEDxFulbrightDublin event will take place on 9th September 2018 in the Tivoli Theatre with this year’s theme Notion of a Nation. Talks from our previous events have been selected as TEDx editors pick of the week, shortlisted on the TEDx YouTube channel, and promoted to the TED.com site getting over 1.2 million views. The event will feature exceptional live presentations and performances from friends and alumni of the Irish Fulbright community.

At TEDxFulbrightDublin, we pride ourselves on our intensive speaker preparation process. We work with content delivery and curation experts to make sure each talk shines. Before the event, you will rehearse your talk in front of a relatively large, but friendly audience. Feedback and practice will help you craft your talk for your TEDx debut.

To apply for a speaker / performance position, fill out the attached slide (template link) and include a link to footage of you speaking at a public event – if you do not have footage, please record a 1-2 minute video for submission and share it with us (we recommend YouTube’s private video service; details here).  Forward all application material to Lorcan Walsh lorcan@tedxfulbright.org by 5th June 2018. For more information, visit www.tedxfulbrightdublin.ie, if you have any queries while applying, we strongly encourage you to contact Lorcan.

TED has never paid speakers to appear, but has always committed to creating an experience that is tremendously fulfilling for all engaged parties. For our TEDx event, we uphold the same goals. We are working hard to provide travel support for all speakers; details will follow in later correspondence.

If you wish to nominate a potential speaker other than yourself or if you wish to volunteer for the event, please contact Lorcan for further information.
