January 10th, 2013: Fulbrighter to Speak at Westminster College Encouraging Seedbeds of Creativity
Fulbrighter Eina McHugh is giving a lecture at Westminster College on January 23rd, 2013.
Eina McHugh has been the Director of The Ark, A Cultural Centre for Children in Dublin, Ireland, since 2005. In 1998 she directed the Second World Summit on Television for Children in London. Her love of children’s cultural work began in 1990 when she became involved with Northern Ireland’s inaugural children’s film festival, Cinemagic, eventually going on to direct the award winning festival and become Deputy Director of the Northern Ireland Film Council.
Her first book ‘To Call Myself Beloved‘ has just been published by New Island Books. She is a 2012-2013 Fulbright Visiting Scholar in Visual and Performing Arts with the Lincoln Center Institute in New York. Her lecture in Utah is sponsored by the Utah Fulbright Association.
