December 11th, 2012: Fulbrighter to Perform in Galway Fulbright Scholar, Paul Roe, to Perform as Part of Galway's Midwinter Festival

One of Ireland’s most esteemed clarinet players, Paul Roe, is performing in Galway on Friday, January 25th, 2013 at the Town Hall Theatre.Paul is a leading Irish musician who performs both with the clarinet and bass clarinet. He was awarded a Fulbright Scholar Award in 2008 to study and research at the Mannes College of Music in New York.The Fulbright Awards are annually awarded to students and scholars in all disciplines, including music and the arts. The next round of Awards will open in Autumn 2013, so please check back for more details.

The concert is entitled “Beethoven: Genius, Passion, and the Irish Connection” and Paul will be performing with other leading musicians as part of the Midwinter Festival.
