Lehman College in New York is hosting a series of Irish Language Lectures in the coming months and full details are available on their website, http://www.lehmangaeilge.org/.
Lehman College has long been a partner of the Fulbright Commission and they are currently hosting two Irish Fulbrighters, Rhona Ní Chearbhaill (FLTA) and Mary McPartlan (Scholar).
Rhona recently gave a talk as part of the lecture series, entitled “Fill Arís: Léargas liteartha agus eitneagrafaíochta ar an aisimirce go ceantar Gaeltachta Chonamara,” which focused on return emigration to the Connemara Gaeltacht.
The next lecture will take place on the 3rd of December with Máire Ní Neachtain and all events are free of charge. Please keep an eye on the Lehman Gaeilge website for any updates to the lecture series.
