April 1st, 2012: Fulbright FLTA Teaches Irish Sean-Nos tap at University of Montana

The University of Montana is currently offering a course in Irish sean-nos tap dance which is worth 2 credits for students taking the course.

The University of Montana is the first and only University across the US offering a credit based course in Traditional sean-nos dance.

Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant, Maire Ní Chuaig is the course instructor

“I am delighted to share Ireland’s oldest dance form with the students here at the University and thrilled with the interest shown to date. We currently have 12 students registered for the spring 2012 term.”
