Sharanya Suresh is from the Bay Area and passionate about integrating a social justice framework into policy. She is a recent graduate from Claremont McKenna College, where she received her BA in Government and Literature. In her undergraduate career, Sharanya wrote for the consortium newspaper, was an advocate for survivors, and a community-builder for marginalized students. She was awarded a Fulbright grant to pursue a Masters in Public Policy at Dublin City University, where she plans to conduct cross-cultural research on gender roles and reproductive health access in Ireland and the United States. She hopes this research will reveal a need for radical social change from our communities to our government.
