Dr Katherine Lineberger earned her Ph.D. at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is Senior Lecturer at Florida International University (FIU), where also serves as Undergraduate Program Director & Coordinator of Online Programs in the Department of Global and Sociocultural Studies. She has over 20 years of experience in needs assessment, program planning & development, evaluation, community identification, & social epidemiology. Varied foci include projects regarding domestic violence, child protective policy, women, substance abuse, & risk in street-level sex work. For her Fulbright project, she will teach 1-2 courses at University College Dublin. Additionally, she will develop a semester abroad program for students from both FIU and UCD. She will work with Dr Mary McAuliffe, building cultural competence, learning the history of, and networking in preparation for potential research projects related to Ireland’s, and other nations’ Mother and Baby Homes.
