Isabel Cabezas is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where she studied art history and anthropology. Her thesis centered on Impressionism, so she looks forward to engaging with modern art at Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane. Through her Fulbright award, she will strengthen relationships between the Gallery and Dublin’s communities by developing educational programs. Isabel is delighted to return to the art world of Ireland; previously, she interned at the National Gallery of Ireland, curated an exhibit of Imogen Stuart’s sculpture at Kylemore Abbey, and volunteered at the Clifden Arts Festival in Connemara. Before receiving this award, Isabel worked at Notre Dame’s Keough School of Global Affairs in its Washington, D.C. office.
