Dr. Marie Elena Anzalone is the Director of Post Professional Programs and Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Anzalone will be based at University College Cork in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy where she will lecture and undertake research in the area, ‘Sensory Integration Deficits’.
Ms Laura Baker holds a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Commonwealth University. Ms Baker will be based the School of Geography, Planning and Environmental Policy in University College Dublin. Ms Baker will undertake research on, ‘Ireland’s National Spatial Strategy and Sustainable Development’.
Mr. Joseph Bova is a Professor based at the School of Art in Ohio University – Athens were in specialises in ceramics. Mr Bova will lecture and undertake a project in the area of Art Ceramics, creating a body of ceramic art work. He will be based at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. Ms. Courtney Cobb holds a BA in Economics from Denison University, Ohio. She will undertake a MEcon in European and Public Affairs at the School of Politics and International Relations at University College Dublin.
Dr. Catherine Curran is an Associate Professor at the Department of Marketing and Management based at Charlton College of Business in Massachusetts. Dr Curran is the recipient of the Fulbright-Schuman Scholar Award and will undertake research in the area of, ‘Marketing and Advertising to Children’, at the College of Business and Law in University College Dublin.
Dr. Elizabeth Foley is a Professor of Law based at Florida International University. Dr. Foley will undertake research into the area of ‘Medical Futility’ and lecture in the School of Law at National University of Ireland – Galway.
Dr. Gul Kremer is an Associate Professor in the School of Engineering Design & Department of Industrial Engineering at Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Kremer will be based at the Faculty of Engineering in Dublin Institute of Technology. She will lecture and undertake research in the area of, ‘effectiveness of a systematic ideation method (TRIZ) on engineering design outcomes’.
Dr. Sarah Lubienski is an Associate Professor in the College of Education at the University of Illinois – Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Lubienski will be based at the Centre for Advancement of Science Teaching and Learning (CASTeL) at Dublin City University. She will lecture and undertake research in the area, ‘Mathematics Education Reform in Ireland’.
Dr. Elizabeth Oldmixon is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at University of North Texas-Denton. Dr. Oldmixon will be based at the Department of Government at University College Cork where she will lecture and undertake research in the area of, ‘Religion and the Legislative Politics in the Republic of Ireland and the United States’.
Dr Leo Morrissey is the Chair and Professor in the Department of English at Clemson University in South Carolina. Dr. Morrissey will be based School of Humanities in the National University of Ireland – Galway. He will lecture and undertake a research project titled, ‘Ireland and the Question of Milton’s Theological Republicanism’.
Dr. Lim Nguyen is an Associate Professor based at the Department of Computer and Electronics Engineering at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In Ireland Dr. Nguyen will be based at the Research Institute for Networks and Communications Engineering (RINCE) in Dublin City University. Dr. Nguyen will lecture and undertake a research project in the area of, ‘Spread spectrum radio-over-fiber code division multiple access communications’.
Mr. David Ramsay holds a BSE in Electrical Engineering and Music Biomedical Engineering from Case Western University. Mr. Ramsay will be based in Dublin Institute of Technology with the TeaPot research group. He will be researching the area of ‘Advanced Musical Rehabilitation Technology for People with Physical Disabilities’.
Dr. Roger Savage is an Associate Professor in the Department of Ethnomusicology at the School of the Arts and Architecture in University of California – Los Angeles. Dr. Savage will undertake a research project in,’ Tradition and Imagination as Political Resistance’ and lecture in the Centre of Irish Studies at National University of Ireland – Galway.
Ms Megan Shaughnessey has just completed her BA in Political Science, History and Irish Studies at Fordham University, New York. Ms. Shaughnessey will participate NUI Galway’s Irish Language International Summer School at Árus Mháirtín Uí Chadhain in An Cheathrú Rua and then undertake study in the Irish language in NuaGhaeilge Department in the National University of Ireland – Maynooth. Dr. Richard Siegesmund is Associate Professor and Co-Chair in the Lamar School of Art at University of Georgia. In Ireland Dr. Siegesmund will undertake lecture and undertake research project in the area, ‘Applied Arts-Based Research in Schools and Communities’, at the National College of Art and Design. Dr. Daniel Trueman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Music at Princeton University. In Ireland Dr. Trueman will be based at Trinity College Dublin in the School of Drama, Film and Music. Dr. Trueman will lecture and undertake a research project in the area of, ‘Laptops and Performance; Technologically Traditional’.
