Ms Lauren Lehane is a BSc government student at University College Cork. Lauren will be attending the university of Tennessee in Chattanooga as part of the Study of U.S Institutes ( SUSI) program which will focus on social entrepreneurship. Lauren is a member of the winning social enterprise team ‘the Isle of Hope’ from the U.S embassy’s Hackathon in partnership with the DCU Ryan Academy. Lauren is currently serving her second term on the U.S Embassy Youth Council. (Pictured Above with US Embassy Chargé d’affaires, Reece Smyth)
Ms Hader Serour is an undergraduate student of Civil Engineering at Dublin Institute of Technology. She was the 2016 Study of the U.S. Institutes for European Student Leaders (SUSIs) in Environmental Issues Awardee. She attended the University of Oregon during June and July 2016 to complete a 5-week academic program.
Ms Deirdre Campbell is a student of Law, Politics and Media at Maynooth University. She travelled to Indiana University on her Summer Institute Award to participate in the multi-faceted, immersive, Summer Insitute program where she learned about social entrepreneurship, basic business skills and American business practices in the context of American culture.
Mr Arthur McKey is a student of Business and Sociology at Trinity College Dublin. He travelled to Indiana University on his Summer Institute Award to learn how to employ entrepreneurial skills to address social issues.
