• Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship (FLTA) Awards in the Irish language
• approximately €20,000 plus insurance, J-1 visa and programming
• Certificate in Teaching Irish for Adult Learners
• 10 months of post-graduate study and Irish language teaching in the US
• The next round will open in September 2012 for the 2013/14 competition.

Who can apply

• Postgraduate students / recently qualified teachers with
  • competency in the Irish language
  • teaching experience
  • excellent academic and or professional track records
  • leadership qualities
  • an understanding of Fulbright
  • Irish / EU citizenship.

How to apply

• complete and submit online application and supporting documentation
• submit hardcopies of application and supporting documentation by the deadline.
  
• be available for interview JANUARY- FEBRUARY 2012 if short-listed.
