Meta Newhouse is an award-winning designer, design educator and filmmaker with 30+ years of experience in the visual communication industry. Her work is published in 40+ professional design books and annuals, including Communication Arts, Graphis, PRINT, and NOVUM. She is a Professor in Graphic Design and the Director of DSEL (the Design Sandbox for Engaged Learning) at Montana State University. Her MFA in Communication Design is from the University of North Texas. Recently, one of her posters about climate change was added to the permanent collections of the V&A Museum (London); Les Arts Decoratifs de Paris (in the Louvre, Paris); Stedelijk Museum Breda (The Netherlands); Lahti Poster Museum (Finland) and Designmuseum Danmark. As a Fulbright Scholar, she will teach a graduate workshop in Guerrilla Advertising techniques in order to facilitate research dissemination at the University College Cork. She will also continue her research on her Guerrilla Advertising book entitled Guerrillantics.
