Irish Fulbright Alumni Association

Print

A key strength of the Fulbright Program in Ireland and throughout the world lies in the shared sense of honour and pride in being a “Fulbrighter.”  The Irish Fulbright Alumni Association (IFAA) was established in 1995 as a voluntary association of past and present participants in the Fulbright Program.  It is a network of people who have been enriched by this significant exchange experience and who come together to share both professionally and socially.

The IFAA supports the Fulbright Commission by mentoring Irish Fulbright applicants, befriending and supporting American Fulbrighters in Ireland, organising social events for its members and holding the Annual Fulbright Scholars' Dinner at which the current year's awardees receive their awards and are officially welcomed by the Fulbright Commission.

The current IFAA President is Mr. Frank McGoldrick.
