A Priceless Gift: Fulbright in Ireland was launched on 29th April 2009 by Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Micheál Martin and Mr. Robert Faucher, the US Embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires ad interim. A Priceless Gift: Fulbright in Ireland is a 10 page text pack wrapped around a 25 minute DVD that collages music, quotes and interviews with key stakeholders in the Program and 17 Irish and US Fulbrighters to communicate the mission of the Fulbright program worldwide and the evolution and impact of the Fulbright Program in Ireland. The title derives from the observation of one US Grantee that his Fulbright grant to Ireland was “truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a priceless gift.” An edit clip of A Priceless Gift can be seen by playing the video below.
