January 22nd, 2013: Irish Language Teacher Shares Football Season Excitement
Current FLTA, Nóirín Ní Laighin, Cheers on the Irish at Notre Dame
Nóirín Ní Laighin is a current Foreign Language Teaching Assistant at the University of Notre Dame. She was lucky enough to be there for their undefeated (regular) season and has shared some of her photos from the games.
Nóirín attended four football games at the Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana, where Notre Dame went undefeated until the National Championship game against Alabama.

This season had important ties to Ireland, as the first game was played against Navy at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, just around the corner from the Fulbright Offices!

As a FLTA, Nóirín teaches Irish to current Notre Dame undergraduates and also participates in a range of cultural programming. Nóirín joins a long history of Fulbrighters going to Notre Dame to study, teach, and lecture in its Irish Studies program.
