December 12th, 2012: Fulbrighter to Speak Friday on the American Christian Right Dr. Matthew Sutton is to Deliver a Lecture at Dublin City University

Matt Sutton, a current US Fulbright Scholar at the University College Dublin, will speak this coming Friday, December 14th, 2012. The talk is entitled “Anticipating the Antichrist: The Rise of the American Christian Right.”

Matt Sutton is an associate professor of history at Washington State University and visiting Scholar at UCD. At UCD he is lecturing on American Cultural, Political, and Religious History and working on a forthcoming book American Evangelicals and the Politics of Apocalypse (Harvard University Press).

Matt’s talk on the Rise of the American Christian Right will take place at DCU in Room Q120 in the Business School Building. For a map of the campus, please click here. The talk will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14th, 2012.
